This is Tarama with his family. On several occasions the woman on the far left tried to give me her baby to take back with me to the United States. The man next to her you may recall was the gentleman cutting some kind of flesh a few pictures back. They were all very excited to get their pictures taken.
Tarama is one of the most interesting individuals I've met in India so far. He lives in a small village but has a huge personality. He picks mangos for a living but his work is entertainment. If you come to Vembarali some day look for him at Chinna Raja's tea stall. Be sure to say "Yen-eh-ka Rajinikanth pi-ti-cuum,"("I like Rajinkanth" in Tamil) and you'll be in for a treat.
