| This photo shows part of a gopuram (sp?) from the same Hindu Temple where the guy cracked a joke about President Clinton. A gopuram is a big tower above an entrance to a temple. Lots of the temple towers that I've seen so far are decked out with incredible sculptures like these. There's just so many of them! And the colors are pretty far out too. Word is that each section of the goporam depicts a different scene from Hindu Mythology. |
